Mount Ajung is an active volcano located in Bali, Indonesia. Bali is a popular destination to spend a summer vacation. Tourists come from all over the world to Bali through Denpasar airport. But they do not know that their vacation can turn into a horrible disaster!

The most recent time it erupted was in 1964 back in the olden days. Some of the people who are living in Bali has experienced the eruption before and described how terrible it was back then. BBC reported that there was burning rocks landing on top of them. All of the people living in bali are fleeing to places where they can be protected from the eruption.

Volcanologists are seeing signs of a possible eruption soon. That is the reason why people are fleeing to safer areas. Volcanologists are people who study volcanoes and can also predict when an eruption could happen. Moving away from the active volcano is the best option for the citizens of Bali.

Going on Vacation

Going on a vacation to Bali is not the best idea for tourists to do at the moment. The Authorities in Bali are trying to close the airport to stop tourists from coming in. But if they do, people can’t leave the island! If they can’t stay safe then how will they survive? People are fleeing away from the menacing volcano.
