Empty Pavement

As I jog on the empty pavement,
I feel the breeze softly hitting my cheeks.
The birds whistle.
The trees sway.
Everything is calm.
I hear the relaxed vibrations in my head.
There is no more of that now.
Now, there is no breeze or the soft whistling of the birds.
Replaced now by the booming noise of factories.
The trees don’t bend.
The birds don't sing.
I don’t go there anymore.
