On the 18th and 19th of November, ISPP hosted the biggest swim meet of the year, with schools all over Asia participating in a two--day event called the Swimvitational.

According to John Holbery in the ISPP Pulse October - November magazine, “There were 16 international schools from Thailand, China, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam and also our local Phnom Penh schools, with just under 380 swimmers competing over two days.” He continued “There were 112 events, 2151 individual entries and 128 relay entries.” Later in the article, he said “We had a team of 72 students from as young as Grade 2 through to Grade 12 representing ISPP” “overall we came second with 13 swimmers in the top 10 of their age groups with India, Alexei, Erin and Lisa winning group trophies.”

Shauqi’s (Grade 5) opinion about the Swimvitational was “It was really fun at the Swimvitational. The food was really good like the best burritos ever, and I loved hanging out with the other schools, and the races were so fun!” Then Lucy also in the 5th grade stated her opinion on the Swimvitational, “I agree with Shauqi, the burritos were good, and this was my first swim meet, and it was a really good fun one.”

So what is your opinion on the Swimvitational?
